Since brass is an alloy of copper and zinc, like these two metals, brass objects tend to tarnish and oxidize over time. We have chosen not to treat the surface in order to meet visual compatibility with very high-end turntables and to respect a competitive price that is not threatened by losses caused by damaged parts contracted out for finishing treatments.
